Although currently small, this site hopes to become a regional resource for amateur astronomers in the Baltimore and D.C. areas.
Now a little about myself... My name is Bill McNamee and I’m the Founder and President of Integrated Desktop Solutions, Inc., a Baltimore area technical services firm. I have a diverse background with an academic career in anthropology and archeology and a professional career as an information systems professional. I’ve been an armchair astronomer since my high school days and studied astronomy in college as well. Over the last several years, I’ve actively gotten back into the hobby and this web site is my way to give something back to the astronomy community.
